Pulse Points for August 8
Glad to Be Back!
Thanks for your prayers over the last two weeks, church family. I certainly felt them. School is always so valuable, but for me, the hardest part is being away from my family for two weeks. Really, there is no place like home.
Huge thanks to Pastor Jason, Larry, and Clint for fulfilling the teaching obligations in my absence. We are so blessed to have such wonderful, capable people help fill the gap. I am so grateful for our staff and leaders. Thanks, guys!
Pray for our Teachers and Students
It’s hard to process how quickly the summers fly by these days. Nevertheless, another summer has basically come and gone, and school resumes this week. Cross Point is literally filled with teachers and students. Teachers—please know that we are praying for you as you lead, equip, and guide these highly impressionable young people for another year. And students—remember that Cross Point is praying for you as you learn, grow, and develop in the days ahead. I deeply love our young people. And I highly respect our educators for all that they do to invest in the next generation. Cross Point is so grateful for you all.
Pray for our Worship Minister Search Team
Church family, on behalf of our Worship Minister Search Team, I continue to ask you to lift us up in prayer. We have made tremendous progress thus far, but there are several more crucial decisions we must make over the next couple of months. We yearn to present God’s specific leader to you as our Worship Minister. And we are confident that we will as the Lord continues to guide us. Your prayers are invaluable. Please keep remembering us!
Pastor Loves People
Cross Point, please know that I dearly love this faith family. You people mean more to me than words can describe. Other than Jesus and my family, serving you is the joy of my life. Thank you for the privilege to be your pastor.
I love you all,
