Pulse Points for July 25

Thank you for being present to worship with us today. Jesus Christ has given us every reason to preach, sing, love, give, serve, care, pray, and fellowship as His church! Cross Point has been so blessed. Obviously, we have a great God, but we have such great people, too. Thank you for being such a devoted, faithful congregation.

As the Lord brings me to your mind, please remember to pray for me as I leave this afternoon and travel to Fort Worth, Texas, to attend classes the next two weeks on the campus of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (www.swbts.edu). Some of you may not know, but I am so grateful for the privilege to earn the final degree of my academic experience through doctoral studies in Christian preaching. God has opened the door for me to study in this program, and Cross Point has been so gracious to allow me the time and opportunity to pursue it as well. I thoroughly enjoy the learning, but I deeply miss my family and church while away. Therefore, pray specifically for my schooling, but also pray for Carrie and our kids in my absence. God willing, I'll be back with you exactly two weeks from today on August 8. You will be blessed by Pastor Jason--a truly great preacher--while I'm away.

Again, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for the great honor of serving as your pastor. Carrie, Zeke, Madie and I are so grateful to call this place "home." Please know that you are dearly loved!
