There really is no substitute on earth for being in God’s Presence, with God’s People, in God’s House, on God’s Day. Each week my heart is thrilled by gathering with each of you—Cross Point—for this celebration of God’s grace, mercy, love, power, and faithfulness. There is no god like our God! Please know I’m praying God reveals himself to you in a deeply personal way. I’m praying you leaved this place today changed person.
Join me today in praying God’s blessings upon Scott, Leigh, Hannah, and Caleb McMillan. This past Monday was Scott’s final day as a formal part of our ministry team. Scott served us well for the last 4+ years as our Worship Pastor. We are very grateful for his heart, passion, and dedication. Scott was instrumental to leading us to where we are as a church, and I am indebted to him. He has been very dedicated to his work in leading our praise teams and choir. From the bottom of my heart, I dearly love Scott—and we wish him well as he segues into the next chapter of his life. Scott is undoubtedly a godly man that will continue to be used in powerful, tremendous ways in the days to come.
In the mean time, I am very thankful for our own Larry Wood who will be leading us during this transition period in our worship ministry. Larry is the epitome of high character and humility, and we are so thrilled he and Sandy are “heart deep” here at Cross Point. This church is so blessed with rich musical talent, and Larry is immediately stepping in to coordinate our music ministry efforts.
Church family, thank you for the honor of serving as your pastor. I deeply love you. You add so much to my life. Carrie, Zeke, and I couldn’t be happier to know this church and community are our home.
I love you,
Pastor Jeremy
