Cross Point Student Ministries exist to reach unchurched teenagers with the Gospel message of Christ in a real, relevant, and relational way and to guide them into a personal walk with Jesus Christ.
The Big Four
The students at Cross Point are encouraged to participate in four events each year that reinforce our core values of discipleship, evangelism, and missions.
High School Discipleship
The High School students of Cross Point are encouraged to attend a yearly discipleship retreat that provides age appropriate Bible Study and entertainment. Whether skiing down a mountain in West Virginia or soaking up the sun in Orlando, Florida the high school retreat provides excellent opportunities for community and discipleship.
Middle School Discipleship
Middle School students are encouraged to attend our annual Middle School Retreat. Nestled among the hard woods of Forsyth Georgia, Camp Kaleo plays host to this exciting event. Students participate in five in-depth Bible studies, praise and worship sessions, and team building events. This retreat offers and excellent opportunity for middle school students to connect with their peers.
Summer Student Camp
Each year, our Cross Point Student Ministry enjoys “Student Camp.” Camp primarily serves as the evangelistic outlet for our student ministry. Student camp is an exciting getaway for teenagers and provides an excellent arena for spiritual depth for students of all ages. Our hope is that many students would enter into a life changing relationship with Jesus Christ and others would deepen their commitment to Jesus in their daily walk with God. Cross Point students are encouraged to invite friends that have little or no affiliation with a local church and with Jesus Christ.
Both Middle and High School ministries participated in short term mission trips this summer. In June of 2009 our Middle School Students served the Perry community through the help and support of the Perry Volunteer Outreach (PVO). High School Students will served in Greenville, SC to providing service and ministry to the Downtown Greenville area. “The Bridge Mission” took place July 16 – 23 and offered students the opportunity to live as church planters and cultural missionaries for the week.
