Go Intentionally

Matthew 28:18-20, And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

In order to make disciples, we will...
1. Reach People
2. Baptize People
3. Teach people how to obey Christ

Acts 1:8, "but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth."

Reaching people begins at home and expands to the ends of the earth.

John David & Natalie Mangrum, Boston, MA

JD and Natalie Mangrum with Noah and OwenJohn David Mangrum is a pastor and church planter with the North American Mission Board. He and his wife Natalie live in Boston, Massachusetts where they are planting Christ Church Charlestown. They have two sons, Noah and Owen.
“Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things that you do not know” (Jeremiah 33:3)
Our primary goals here are simple these first few months: know 340 people (2% of Charlestown) and do not be perceived as odd by people in the neighborhood — “340 and ‘Don’t be weird.’” We’ve learned that some things only God can do. We can’t prepare and change hearts. We can’t save anyone. We, in fact, can’t even “start” the church…the Bible says that its God who births the church. Our job is to find where He’s at work and join Him.
